I haven't seen this version of Bye Bye Bird before.
I think I even heard a couple of kiss-pops in there...

The 'beat box' (or whatever you call that) is at apx. 1:21 into the clip.

Interesting. He seems to be sticking to mouth noises. I didn't hear the vocal articulations you'd hear in modern beat boxing. Pretty cool.

I just had a revelation while watching that - That's a great mic! Sonny Boy's a powerhouse playing a huge Marine Band 365, but this clip shows me that he really isn't using a lot of volume; the mic is doing all the work.

Thanks for the clip!

(Does it show I've never used a mic before?)

If nose playing is your thing, on the tune, Gettin' Out Of Town on the same DVD, there is even more nose playing.
