i took advantage of chromaticblues' specials that he offered up back in december.
twas a good deal and great work. i should have had him hoodoo a few more.

i sent him 2 special 20s and 2 delta frosts, an A and D of each, so i could get a good comparison of the work. i dont play the special 20s much any more. havent for years except for when come across one in a drawer or something. i prefer the bushmans for their ease in bending and the loudness. my opinion.

when i got them back i played the 20s for a week or so over the bushmans to try and be fair in the review. they were louder than i remembered. more gritty. and they bent real easy and were easy for me to maintain the pitch of the bends. i thought i was going to have to revert back to them as my main harp.

i then started to play the bushmans and do more side-by-side comparisons. the bushmans were still better. i just liked the tone more. they bent as well as the 20's and may be a bit louder. if i get more harps worked on, it will be the bushmans.

all harps were over 4 yrs old. the bushmans had taken abuse as i dont treat harps gently.
thought folks might like a review and it was also partially a request by kevin on getting the december special. i would have sent it sooner but i am a procrastinator.

i will do a review on the mb crossover i had him do for me shortly.
