Ok,Im sure this has been posted time & time again. BUT I tried the search for about 2 whole seconds, I HATE THAT #%@Kin' search engine I swear. Ive used it before & it sure as hell dont help. Anyway, enough of that...
Im in need of a comb for my Marine Band 1896/20. Not just yet, cause I dont have the money at all right now. But Im thinkin in about 2 weeks I can buy it. I dont need it sealed or customized or a nice color or any of that. Just a plan old comb. I'll do the sealing & all that stuff my self. So if anyone can help me,I'd be very thankful for the help.
Just figured I'd put the bug in your ears now so I can be setup when the money comes in.
Thanks all, Jimmy

The problem with the search is it works on keywords, and in any specialty area those key words will get used in a lot of posts.
There is a list of customizers in the Thread Organizer thread in my signature. They aren't sorted by who does what though, but it's a place to start.

My understanding is they will. HarpNinja will probably back it up.
Supposedly you can call Hohner's USA office and they will hook you up. I don't have the number, it's on one of these threads, but I'm sure it is on their website as well.
Also, rockinron's music 4 less also sells combs for MB I am pretty sure.

They probably get excited when a true harp nerd calls who actually would replace a comb and not just impulse purchase a harp only to noodle for a week and forget about it. ---------- Shane

Thanks guys. Didnt really think Hohner would do that type of thing. But I'll check it out. Dont see combs for 1896's but for sp 20's on Rockn' Rons. I'll have to call them & see.

Hohner DOES sell combs and if you go on their site, they have a list that you can download that's in a PDF format. They also sell other parts as well. ---------- Sincerely, Barbeque Bob Maglinte Boston, MA http://www.barbequebob.com CD available at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/bbmaglinte
