Hey fellow harps blowers, instead of letting your old, unrepairable harps just sit collecting dust, you can have them turned into a piece of art. My wife is a found-object artist who has been using my old harps in her art work.
Here's a link (artbypeg.com) to her website to see what she's done with my harps, they can be found in "Recycled Harps" folder. You can contact me if you're interested in having a piece made from your harp. Vern bluezboy@bellsouth.net

Very cool stuff!

Oh, and I'd refrain from posting your phone number out here...unfortunately, not everyone has good intentions. You can edit a post as long as you are logged in. That's your choice, though.

Also, you can add links such as this under your profile for anyone to see when they click on your username.

If you pay for shipping, I can send you some MS reedplates... and maybe some rusty covers.

harpdude, sorry about that, her site may be acting up again. Please try to go to artbypeg.com You should be able to view her work and there is an album with 3 pieces using my old harps. Let me know if you still can't view it. Vern

we all should learn how to set up our harps
most other players of any instrument make sure they know their piece inside out.we have with internet, how to show how to do it.use them old harps for testing, set them up loose than tight find out where your sweet spot is...
