In December I contacted Jim after reading on his website that he would fix up a harp for you if you sent him two other broken harps as payment.
I asked Jim if he would retune a "A"MB deluxe to powerbending tuning. In return I would send him 2 other MB deluxe's and a SP20. The Sp20 had a blown reed and the other 2 harps needed some work on them too.
Jim replied thst he would so this for me so I sent off the harps to Bulgaria. Jim kept in contact at every step and I got the harp back a few days ago.
I had to regap a couple of the low holes to my playing style so had to open up the harp and was impressed with some of the work I could see that Jim had done....fitting new reeds which played perfectly without any gapping.

The harp is going to take a bit of getting used to as the powerbender tuning is not quite as intuitive to me as normal richter tuning, but some of the chords you can get are amazing and you can bend right up to 9 draw! I've been playing about with it for a few days now and starting to get the hang of it.

I think this was a great deal and Jim is an excellent guy to deal with, thanks Eugene.

Thanks Oisan!

I could retune the reeds, but since I have lots of hohner HM reeds in all keys - I decided it's better to replace some reeds that need extreme pitch change.

Regarding powerbender logic: it's actually a mix of 3 tuning types:
holes 1-4 are regular Richter,
holes 5-8 are spiral (100% identical to "truechromatic" which is also spiral logic)
and holes 9 -10 are unique (correct me if you know what logic they represent)
