I hope things dry up for you. We had a bad flood when I was a kid. It wasn't anything on that scale, but I had a couple inches of water running through my bedroom. Since we were on the side of a hill at least it wasn't stagnant and it ran out when things calmed down.

All good mate, I work in near the city and we were told to leave ASAP today and managed to get home ok and we are on high ground. Sounds like it's going to get a lot worse though.
I feel for the people around Toowoomba with 9 dead and 66 missing.

My brother in law is up in Kingaroy. Just left toowoomba last night. He's lucky he missed the flash floods up there!
