Wow...We lost to the team with 'no chance'...Oh well...it was a fun ride. At a friend's house, we pulled out guitar and harps during the commercials to try and get our blues out as we watched our team's impending doom...This isn't one of the best moments, but it got captured.

Nice job Todd.

As I watched the game, I was thinking of my forum friends in NO, some of whom I met at HCH 2010.

If fate (that would be my Wife) allows me to get to HCH 2011, the Ice Chest 'O Beer will be there for you.

Better luck next year Saints...

todd,

i can't explain it, but you play like a new orleans guy- not chicago style guy.

like tab beniot plays blues, but it's a new orleans blues through and through.

thanks guys!

MP, not sure whether it's a New Orleans sound or not, which as far as blues harmonica goes, I don't really know of a definitive 'New Orleans' harp style...Sansone is a Chicago-style player who slides into the Delta occasionally. Andy J. Forest screams 'New Orleans' to me more than any other player here-his unique voice and style are the sound of Frenchman Street, with all of its eclecticness and funky vibe. And then there's Jason Ricci-good luck labeling him or confining him to just one. I've never tried to sound like anyone else. Now, if you tell me, 'play it Chicago style' 'play it West Coast style', I can lean that way, but I don't default to it naturally. I've got too many influences to point to or sound like any particular style or even any particular instrument. I play like me, good or bad.
