Hell everyone. I'm glad to be here. Hope and believe that I can learn something and give something positive back.

I call myself ShamMcCoy not because I see myself as Charlie McCoy or as a clone like him, but because I aspire to be a great musician like him and because he was my first harp hero.

My second harp hero is the late, Little Walter. Since then I have acquire other heroes, Jazz Gilliam, Charles Musclewhite, Sam Myers, Slim Harpo, Brendan Powers, and Todd Parrot and as time goes by I am getting more.

Happy Harping.

Welcome to the forum! There's a lot more to be learned from Charlie McCoy than just country, that's for sure. He was partly an influence on me as well.
