The five blow is not sounding anymore on my Seydel Blues Favorite Bb. It was working like a champ then I took it apart to clean (using the Turboharps cleaning kit, if it matters) now it won't even squeel.
It's like it's caught on something but I used a flosser and made sure it's clean with no blockage. I checked to see if it was knocked outa line and catching on the comb (nope). I tried everything I know how to do but can't figure it out. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

Did you try plinking it to get it to sound? If you plink it and it doesn't ring and there is no obstruction then I sounds as if you have blown it out. ----------

Ahh! Life saver! haha. Plinking did the trick. Thank you.
PS- Now the hole overblows! Use to only be the 6 now both. Shows how little I know of tinkering. Very cool.

Dog Face, did you maybe lower the gap cleaning it? That could have caused the reed not to sound, plinking it could have raised it just a little and the tighter gap could explain why it over blows now.
