Chris Reynolds is now offering the following new services, which may be of some interest to players who don't have an extra $150-300 to spend on custom harps.
Want a harp set up to play better, tuned better, comb sealed, or want the covers opened up?
Harp Restoration & Repair
Want free harp set-ups, combs, or even a free custom harp?
Harp Graveyard
Chris is a member of this forum, is a machinist by profession, and is one of the nicest guys on the planet. He supplies combs for Joe Spiers, and has personally trained with Joe on the customizing process. I have a case full of his combs, and I've always been 100% satisfied with not only the quality of the combs, but also the high level of professionalism, communication and courtesy that he has shown. There just aren't enough nice things to be said about Chris. He's a true asset to the harmonica community.
He also offers acrylic combs at a very reasonable price, which are slightly thinner, making the harp more responsive. I personally like these, especially for lower keys.
Check out his site or drop him a line...

Bookmarked. Thanks Todd. You always take your place amongst the sober helpful types on the internet alongside BBQ, Mr. Spiers, and the like.
Always great to read something posted by someone with solid talent minus the rickety ego and petty entanglements.
HEY, you would probably get a good laugh if you could see me poring over your videos trying to cop your licks! Play, rewind, play rewind. I can do " the poor mans version " of a good many of them although you might wince to hear it.
