This guy's name is Joel. He plays a range of genres including folk and Irish and he plays the harp so it sounds like a squeezebox. If I could play like anyone at the moment, then he is who I would like to be able to play like. As a solo performance it is quite complete and doesn't need any supporting instruments.

Personally, I couldn't listen to a lot of his other stuff (which is strange because I usually enjoy ITM), but I really really dug the video that Tooka posted and the one I've embedded above. I'd like to have a sound like that too.

Well--here's a lesson, if you want to sound like Joel--her makes some very good points toward the end--and the lesson is great! Always something new to learn--and me with a full brain!

Thanks @OW. Yes I've been watching his videos for ages and tried to learn the odd bit here and there but it never gets to sink in properly. That St Annes tongue technique is impossible for me at the moment. Doh!

yes he is great. Good job on putting him here so more people gets aware of his tallent.

With his tunes you can see that first position represents a whole new world besides blues! and one that get's a lot of work to master
