I'm proud to announce that RJ Mischo is the latest "well known pro" to switch to a BlowsMeAway wood mic.
RJ says "I just plugged in my new beautiful curly maple mic from BlowsMeAway Productions. It has a 1950 Shure black label CR element with Killer Tone. I played the mic with my Bassman, Super Reverb & Concert amp and the mic sounds great with all of them. i really like the grilles you fashioned for MojoKanes EVs. are you offering that mic in your line?

@MP - I think you're referring to the EV "Spherex 920" - I have several of those shells and and can make custom grills for them. There are some caveats - but you're right - they're about the smallest possible shell you can get a CM into. Here's one i did with a shape I find rather "pleasant":
