Not a big fan of the guitar...it's too overstated and forceful when individual strings are being plucked, although that may have to do with the fact that it needs to be heard over the harmonica. It's very dynamic work, though.
The chrom work seemed perfect and the tones was ideal for this kind of song. I'm a big fan.
The composition is too good, I love how the guitar and harmonica weave in and out through the drums and never fully blend. I believe they call that counterpoint? I'm not classically trained, I'm not sure.
@tf It's a live studio recording. The guitarist is from Spain living in Philadelphia now. Yes we create counterpoint like magic. The harmonica part is improvised.

This is beautiful, Diggs. You had me at 'Flamenco'-I could listen to Flamenco/Spanish Classical guitar all day long- and it's my go-to 'cooking music' when I'm getting exotic in the kitchen. The chrom is a perfect counterpart to the percussive playing of the guitar. Great improv! I love it. ----------
Thanks guys. Glad you liked the tune. Great German Pinella sounded great. Flamenco is the Spanish Blues-Miles Davis ---------- Emile "Diggs" D'Amico a Legend In His Own Mind How you doin'
