Allright!

Now I'm officially a musician, as we got our first paid gig!

The evening's theme was Finnish blues, sang in Finnish. We had two local bands that has took the approach of writing Finnish songs - Hoodoo Sauna & Juurus Texas. The star of the evening was Pepe Ahlqvist (who was btw one of the best blues harpists in Finland (at the time he still played it).

It was an amazing night! We had more than 130 people in the club which is pretty good amount of people in a small town like ours - especially when Eppu Normaali, which is perhaps the most popular band in Finland had a gig at the same time here..

It was our best gig so far. The atmosphere was great on the stage and I felt really relaxed in a good way which meant more entertainment on the stage. I would say that I made more mistakes when playing than usually, but the intensity of the performance was really good so it didn't matter. Few people actually said they liked us better than Pepe.. :)

I had also a chance to jam at the end of the evening with Pepe & others which was nice too.

I'll put some links to youtube as I get them online.

Ok, now you can see some of the songs we played in the youtube. Here are some samples of the songs:

Oh, about the gear: Buddha harp C, Sp20 E with turbo lids, MB F, Sp20 low F, Greg Heumann wooden custom mic, Marble Max amp, Artec analog delay.

Btw, I got the Buddha harp just before the gig so I didn't have time to really get to know it but it decided to still use that. Perhaps I'll write a review sometime later.
