I just listeded to Kingo play Evening Sun,,, where would it fit in.

This style is known in advanced music theory circles as Bad (or good depending upon your perspective) Biker Harp.

I think this calls for further investigation. I think I started to look around from link to link on Wikipedia once, but I don't think I saved the search, but here is a little Google legwork...

@nacoran- It took me too long in life to find the music that I heard, as a kid, in movies about the Delta or the swamp areas. I would hear that slide on a Dobro or acoustic guitar with harmonica mixed in. Usually at a slow pace to go along with the area. I am glad that I have found it now and have been trying to learn the blues harp for two years.

Tough question, I guess Piedmont. In the guitar area ,, I love SRV , Albert, Buddy, but I mostly admire Mississippi John, and the other guys of his genre, who are basically a 1 man band. That is a guitar style I struggled to learn , and have a little.
Harp , Hearing Sonny Terry, Deford and similiar , I admit gets me more than Kim Wilson or Little Walter. Im new at his on harp though, I may broaden or change my thoughts
Bands are cool, but the thing of 1 man on guitar or harp being able to capture your attention and hold it , seems almost magical
