Yeah... I've got their St. James Infirmary (mp3) and it is one of the most beautiful but gut wrenching at the same time , songs I've ever heard... pity that I can't find a vid though...

I can't get St. James to download. I had a free download of it at one point. It's what I think of when I think of the song (with all due deference to Satchmo's version)

Dutch, it works for me... I have ubuntu. hmmm...

This version of St. James Inferiority is up in the top 10 of my favorite songs... and a permanent member on my playlist from now on. :)

I think the song is actually in Am... a Low F in 5th position is also very good to noodle along with...

Yes, I'm from Amsterdam and I sometimes visit the Dutch Bluesharp Forum..
I'm using the same handle names there. (I left Holland over 30 years ago.... the only Dutch thing I still have are my bones...)

Do you have anything on youtube?

@ anybody who can help...

There is a great horn solo at 3:34 and I'm using a G harp in 3rd to play along with this song, but I can't get it right... is there a better key to do the horn part?

Edit 11/8 ... I guess G is the best key after all... the problem is that I need more practice..... thanks anyway....
