I saw Richard Hunter several years ago here in New Orleans, and he called his use of this technique 'point/counterpoint'. He's blocking with his tongue and playing on both sides at one. He breaks it down...can anyone else do this, or provide examples of others who do?

I chord & octave with my tongue blocking the middle - can't say I can play two melody lines moving in different directions though - sheesh. Can he tie a cherry stem into a knot with that thing too? ----------
That's what I meant, Bone-two melody lines at once, going opposite directions. I too block chords and octaves, but haven't been successful doing what RH does. ----------

I keep meaning to figure out Row Row Row Your Boat and see if I can play it as a round by myself. I think the hard part is probably figuring it all out beforehand. Then I think it may mostly be a matter of thinking of it in terms of what holes you are blocking, but since I haven't sat down and done it I could have it all wrong. :)
I am not in Richard's league playing forward, backward or sideways I'm afraid. In his triple A division? - mmn -I'd have to be lucky.
When I first heard him at Spah 09 - not knowing who he, or a lot of other great players where - I said out loud and I quote " Damn there's a lot of mother fuckers here" He heard me an grinned.
