They're okay. A little too pop/melodic for my taste. I'm afraid I couldn't hear the harp in the mix (or should this thread have been labeled OT?). ---------- Ozark Rich __________ ##########
@bluesharper. This band is definitely NOT punk. More like emocore if you had to put a name on it. Or at the very most "melodic pop punk". They, and a lot of other newer "punk" bands have made a study of punk posturing, and neo-punk styling, but the music they play is much much more pop oriented than Punk will allow. They seem good at what they do, but it is most certainly not Punk. If that's your fav kind of music, I say Go for it! I liked that kind of stuff too when I was younger. It doesn't appeal to me any more. (I liked Blink 182 when they first came out). Since then, all that poppy stuff has eroded away, and my Punk cd shelf is left with only the originators and a select few modern punk bands like Rancid and Antiflag.
Here is a good example of a real Irish Punk band: Stiff Little Fingers circa 1980!
