The legendary local NJ blues club The Stanhope House recently reopened and my prayers for a closer blues jam have been more than answered. This past Sunday was the first of hopefully a long running blues jam.

It is being hosted by a guy named Dean Shot who I have seen play with Dennis Gruenling's band.

I did not get up to play this time, because the musicianship in the house was off the charts. Most the local legends came out to rock the house and it was nothing but awesomeness all night.

Big Nancy played almost all night and sat in with everyone. She is so tasteful! Here are 2 clips I shot with my phone of her playing with Mike Esposito.

@HOB... yup my new Droid X phone shoots HD video and the sound is decent if the band isn't too loud. I'm excited to catch more footage with it always in my pocket.
