I figure its time I come out of my shell and quit lurking. Been coming here off and on for about a year and a half and I LOVE it.Of course in that time span life has interfered with my harp learnin so all in all I reckon Im coming up on a year soon. Anyway, I figure nothing ventured nothing gained so I will at least introduce myself and come out of the shadows. I like to keep my ears open and head down here because the wealth of info here is SOOO awesome I hate to miss anything. I would say, by the "what level are you?" gage Im around intermediate. I live in Denton, Tx(spittin' distance from Dallas). I love all kinds of music. I play guitar a bit. I was into turntablism style djing for many years and still love that also but theres always room for more fun and learning. I had not played harp for about 3 or 4 months and one day while playing slide guitar i decided to toot around a bit. I guess I had a breakthrough from the previous months of practice because Adams lessons just kinda clicked and I have been playing away with my jam cds(or thin air, everywhere I go) almost non stop bordering obsession for the last two months. I could go on and on but I will TRY to spare you guys all the details...at least this second. Oh, fav harp players of mine (only started exploring blues in the last few years and I have a HUGE range of musical likes so my influential harp pool is pretty small but core, I think, non the less)-
1. Sonny Boy II
2. Adam Gussow
3. Harp boxers, trying to expand the parameters of the art form.

So thats it for now. I look forward to participating actively here and letting you guys get to know me a lil better (I feel I know most of you from lurking. Hi Frank! :))
