On a lighter note with only good intentions ... :)

I do hope the little group man-cry is over now.
In the few months I have been a member, bad forum behavior has been excused based on moon phases, ethnicity, childhood mobbing, testosterone and now psychiatric illness. Have I missed anything?
Not only that, the ones who consistently do rude and stupid things are a) worshipped (Buddha), b) patted and scratched behind the ears (TNFrank) or offered freebies (NOD).
Troublemakers are not the problem on this forum. The problem is coddlers and enablers.

That's not very happy honker. I think your off base. I yell at Buddha all the time (and he yells back). Frank's 'offense' was just not taking some advice because it tweeked his OCD (and then maybe reading too much into NOD's post), and NOD got kicked off the forum for a while. I think this was just a case of what people where saying not translating well onto the forum. You don't hear the inflection in peoples' voices online so sometimes things that are said in jest don't sound like they are in jest. And I think (I could be wrong) the phases of the moon was just a allegorical device. ---------- Nate Facebook Thread Organizer

I'm 2 posts above you NOD! :)
Yeah Dutch, and I didn't even mention that I had to take off my socks so they didn't touch the floor, and then put them back on without touching the bottoms of the socks, because those were dirty from touching the floor in the rest of the house (but not as dirty they would be if they touched the bathroom floor.) My mom used to call me Iron Bladder, because on family car trips I could go for whole trips (Pennsylvania to Florida) without using the bathroom because I didn't want to use a public bathroom.
To quote Buddy Ryan's character from Night Court, "...but I'm feeling MUCH better now!"
I've somehow managed to keep my OCD clear of my harmonicas though, except for not sharing harps, but I think as OCD goes, that might actually be a good thing. I actually saw a tape once of a comedian whose whole routine was based on his OCD. It was pretty funny stuff. You know the things you are doing are ridiculous but the anxiety you feel if you don't do it can be terrible.

Mine's not as bad as it used to be. I can even use a public bathroom... if I really, really have to. :)
