First here is what is important to me: Easy to play, meaning take little air and easy to bend. I like the really subtle textures and I need a custom harp to get them.

Good tone. No rattling. Good sounding chords. Responsive and evenly responsive. Doesn't stick. Easy to scoop notes.

I like that he wanted to hear how I play as opposed to just asking me if I play acoustic or what kind of music I play. I think that gave him a better idea of the kind of harp to build to suit my needs.

And I also liked that he was responsive and pretty quick to deliver.

Oh you've done it now Tin. You'll just have to get the whole set and another set as reserves.

Mine is so responsive and easy to play. If you play guitar, an analogy is that it's like someone put really really light strings on your guitar. So at first, you tend to overbend and over blow the notes cause it's so easy to play. But you can just whisper into it and the reeds make/add those singing, high register tones that are muted to different degrees on my other harps (Manjis are the best of my others regarding this.)

The best part, IMHO, is how much easier it is to hit all the bends on pitch with precise accuracy. This makes it so much easier to play melodies and jazz heads correctly.

How long did it take for you to get it after you ordered?

A little more than 2 months. Which was amazing, given that SPAH was during that time.

He was by far the most responsive of any customizer I have dealt with in terms of delivery time and also responded quickly to my emails.
