Sheesh! Sorry about that second myspace post: I was trying to embed the zt amp website. I'll just leave the first post as the address reference.

Dennis, I saw a few of these at my friendly neighborhood Guitar Center a while back...The 200 watt version. Without even trying, I passed it off as a squeal machine, but perhaps with the treble control and some delicate volume tweaking, it might work? I do like the fact that it resembles an under-the-desk space heater.

The reviews on the GC site(as a guitar amp)are glowing, and apparently it's a clean-sounding high-volume monster. If I get time this weekend, I'll grab a harp and microphone and go fool with one if there is still one available.

bigd, you can always delete or edit your own posts. It looks like you just need to change the tag after the url section that tells you what the name of the page is.

<a href="http://www.ztamplifiers.com/products/">myspace</a>

Just change the part that says myspace to ZTAmplifiers, or whatever you want to call it.

These are amazing for guitar. I'd be interested to know if anyone has tamed one for harp.

Indeed I hope you try one at the guitar center and report back. I did get this response from a harp-l'er: "The volume is unbelievable for the size. Unfortunately, I have lots of problems with feedback when it's used with harp."

Hi Dennis - Why not try a Harp Attack pedal into the PA?

I may indeed try that sometime Joe after I get a day job. I almost if not always keep negative views to myself out of the obvious subjectivity of taste but I never cared much for the lone wolf delay (sadly I sold my Maxon analog which I did like out of necessity) although Randy was super about taking it back. I guess I extrapolated the delay experience to the Harp Attack which i guess makes no sense. Also because of factors too complicated to bore readers with the gig I was curious about this amp for is more of a problem with stage than miked house volume and the monitors just don't serve me well. Here's a video demo of the amp I was asking about by a harp blowing friend in Germany if anyone is interested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=To_qEf5DjuU
