It's a captcha! I missed it, but I think we were attacked again. It's too bad it's not an audio. We could decipher old blues lyrics! :)

What if we're deaf? Gotcha there! Honestly, this code is outrageous because I've been here for a long time, there should be a post count that it is deactivated at.

Zack, I suggested that in the other thread. Sometimes you have to get the wall to keep the barbarians out first and then build the gate. :) I've already missed 2-3 captchas myself.

Groyster, just to give you perspective, there is no delete all tool available, so each piece of spam has to be found and deleted manually. We have had spam bots hit and post 250+ posts (all in an hour or so) before they could be shut off. I was on one night and it took me over 2 hrs. of deleting as fast as I could to get rid of it all. We had a couple times when we got hit more than once in the same day. I'm reading up on as many solutions as possible. Any ideas would be welcome.

@nacoran: Again, the moderators of the forum have done an excellent job keeping the spam in check, since I have never seen it myself. However, in my experience, when a spambot posts 250+ messages in under an hour, they're usually all the same message. Now I'm assuming this forum runs on MySQL. So, there are ways of Bulk deleting if you learn a little bit of SQL syntax. In fact, I think most MySQL managers have a tool to aid in that. I'm just letting you know to make your lives easier next time it happens. If you ever need assistance in bulk deletion of a particular message, you can shoot me an email and I can take care of it. I've had to do it numerous times on my own website. I eventually got it down to a science.

Groyster, no, at least not 'members', but sometimes someone will register for an account, wait a little while, and then flood comes in a couple hundred posts in a at a time. That's why Adam has switched to hand approving each member. In some ways we aren't even a good target, because we are very diligent about taking spam down. But there it is. Jonlaing, I'll keep that in mind and mention it to GH and Adam.
