I know someone might think that I should post this in another forums but I do like the ability to clarify things of you guys here ! so here's the question ; Can I send money through paypal without credit card ? I have my savings account added and hopefully it will be able to get verified soon. I'm not too stupid on computor or internet but for me the paypal website is just like a labyrinth and I really hate it for that ! :( If I gonna have to add my card in order to shop online then I will, but paypal's homepage says something like you can choose how to send your money but if you go on to find out how can you do it then there's no more information and it turned out like using cards is the only option to send money... need a guru.

A few years ago, I had a problem with someone who I bought a Mackie Mixer from, and paypal told me that the only way to resolve the situation in a timely manner was to contact my Credit Card company and dispute the charges. I did that, and everything worked out OK. I use credit card for everything.

I use a debit/credit card. It has the same protections (liability limits etc.) that a credit card does. It would still be a real hassle to get the money replaced. Paypal lets you approve any payment though, so unless Paypal itself got hacked it is pretty safe. If I had a credit card I'd use that instead, although if you can get a no fee account with a debit/credit card it's probably the best possible solution. You earn interest on what you have in the account, don't run up debt and you get all the extra protection of a credit card. Remember, most credit card companies have all sorts of protection programs for their members and ways to dispute charges.
