I'm trying to learn to overlow the 1 hole.
I've found that taking the covers off and putting my finger over the 1 blow reed and then trying to get the overblow on the 1 hole very interesting. I would have never guessed what position my mouth should be in. At least that tells me where "it is".

I've done it a few times but it's not consistent and from what I heard, not very usable at the moment.

thanks buddha et. al.
the first three holes are pretty daunting, especially the #1.
#3 seems like it would be difficult to control do to the flexability of the draw bends-
i mean you've got 1&1/2 steps there,
though, maybe that works in it's favor.

Bertram Becher from Seydel once told me he imitates the sound of a hissing cat in the back of his throat...and he can overblow hole one on almost any harp/key!! For me it doesn't work but for most people it does...! Ben Bouman www.customharmonicashop.nl
