This is a friends local metal band. They do a couple of songs that they
have been kind enough to let me play (nervously) with, on slow nights.
Yes, we are still friends...

The local talent here has been very helpful in helping me learn. 2d 2dbend 2d,
3d 3dbend 3d, 7b 7bbend, 8b 8bbend, 6dbend 6d 6dbend 5d 4d, etc.

I have practiced this for hours and realize its importance. Getting up and jamming with a band
is new and premature for my skill level but its FUN and educational.

All comments will be very much appreciated and applied. I feel the music, hear it in my head,
want to get it out, and will continue to practice the fundamentals.

Much Mahalo's to MP and Mojokane for your help! So much I want to learn still.....

I also want to thank ALL on this forum for the tremendous amount of shared knowledge and
humor.

Aloha, Jon

From a raw beginner standpoint, it took some cajones to even get up on stage. So congrats on your first stage!

I would have liked to have heard a couple of wails thrown in though...

BTW, dig the air-guitar-playing-cig-smoking-picture-taking-back-up-vocal guy.

Okole maluna!

hey jon,

your LO in B has been gapped and tuned and had one reed replaced a while ago, so i don't know if you just forgot it or what.

are these the guys who like to play in F#?

i think you need to work on your rudiments. that would help you to avoid abitrary blowing.

@MP. Ill get the B from you as soon as I can. Hopefully tomorrow? Hope you can make it....
These are the F# guys. They gig 6 nights a week in Waikiki.
Thank You! for the suggestion on what I need to work on and for working on the LO in B.

@Tahoe. Thanks! Its nerve racking getting up and playing (trying) but from what I have read in allot of other posts
its valuable to jam with a band whenever possible. I have allot of work ahead but just trying to have fun as I go.

Here is a song I played with a mostly reggae solo guitar player last month. He does a couple of blues songs too.
