Brendan Power came to Jackson on Saturday night, en route to New Orleans, and he and his partner Laura stayed with us. Brendan sat in with me at my gig, then we went out and hit the circuit, sitting in at two clubs. They're just lovely people, and Brendan's playing was inspiring. I think he had a blast here.

I will post pics and videos... here's one vid of us playing "All of Me" with my guitar player Bob Gates. Brendan's on chromatic and I am on diatonic.

Too much fun!! Love that tune.
If I recall correctly you've said Chris works on your harps. Are those full on Buddha harps you're playing or just Buddha setup? Nice and fluid top to bottom.

Thanks much, Bluemoose. I played that song in 1st position with a Seydel 1847 Silver in C that WAS customized by Chris (in other words, Buddha setup), and in 2nd position with an 1847 Silver in F that Chris has not gotten to yet.

Great, I didn't get my upbeat harmonica vaccine this year and you had to go play something that catchy. I could be stomping my foot for weeks here.

Nate, my guitar player (Bob Gates) says we play this tune as if we are busting out of jail. I won't say what we did to be incarcerated in the first place. :)
