Greetings,
Some of the veterans here might still remember me. If I recall correctly, since we last spoke, this site became very hard to access from Finland due to some boring firewall-related issues. After that I also took a hiatus from actively making music and focused more on writing and other projects for some time.

But as Mr. Corleone says, "just as I thought I was out, they pull me back in!" This time, "they" were resonator guitars. I bought one, then a second one. Now I can't get enough of them. I damn them all to hell.

Kidding aside, I've just released my first solo blues EP on Spotify. Not Middle Eastern inspired folk metal, Balkan madness, viking techno or anything like that this time. Just laid-back, nocturnally-inspired, acoustic blues/folk that doesn't try to turn the whole world upside down. It almost feels as if I've matured a little. But you'll be the judge of that.

Here's the album link for full listen in Spotify

All the songs and lyrics by yours truly. I also sing and play all the resonator guitars, harmonicas and percussions. Just the banjo in #2 is played by a friend.

Here's also the preview player, if you prefer just quick soundbites:

Hope you're all doing great! I wish to be more active on this forum in the future, time permitting.

I'll go a bit further than necoran and say that I love this album! Enjoyed every song, and the harp is tasteful and always hits the spot.

Wow ---Your REALLY GOOD. Good voice , good resonator, great song writing. Your really talented. Lot a soul in your stuff.

I got my 1st resonator as well, using "Open D". I sing better in D, less stress on neck and all 'open e' licks work the same in 'open D'.

I keep an inexpensive guitar -minus the bass E string-in ;open G'

How did u record this? the mix is excellant.

you inspired me thanks

what tuning do u use?

Do u have donation site? your to good to not be compensate
Thanks for inspiration-I needed it

This is excellent - foot-tapping and atmospheric. Very jealous of that resonator!
