Mememe's SPAM was deleted from that fiddle thread with the most extreme prejudice possible. Unfortunately, my choices as moderator were "edit" or "delete" unfortunately there was no "you can go straight to hell" button to click, lol. ---------- www.elkriverharmonicas.com

Buddha, I know you have a personal beef with me, but since you are the only one on the forum I know has operated under a pseudonym you should be careful with your accusations. I have spent hours deleting spam from this forum. Your remark is slanderous and obnoxious.

sorry I should have added LOL
a little sensitive Nacoran? Geeze!
I have no beef with you, I have no idea where you get that idea just because you were wrong to call me out on my usage of bitch.
I recall giving you my cell phone number at one time but you never called so it seems YOU have a beef with me. I don't hide my intentions, if I don't like somebody, I make it very clear.
Speaking of pseudonyms, I made it very very clear exactly who I was while I was doing. I wasn't hiding like the others who use pseudonyms. I am not a coward that hides behind a keyboard.
So Nacoran, I think there is a huge misunderstanding and I would like for you to call me and we'll have a chat. I will report back in a few hours on whether or not you called and if you don't I'll accept it as proof that you have a beef with me that you are unwilling to settle.
My comment was obviously a joke.

Buddha, I explained why I called you out on that. I'm not a phone person. I've had some bad experiences with psycho stalkers. (Yes, I'm that beautiful.) I have a blanket rule that I don't talk on the phone to anyone (aside from businesses) I haven't met in person, (and some people I have). I don't break that rule under any circumstances. That has nothing to do with you. That's just something that's just got to do with my life.
I explained why I had a problem with what you said. I have a problem with that word. When it's used to describe a woman I don't see any difference between it and the worst slurs out there.
Don't worry though. I'm like a drugged bear. If you stop poking me for a few days I'll forget the whole thing. Like I said, the phone thing with me is a personal issue. Please don't take that personally.

Oh, and to the other mods, I've got a glitch on isaacullah's 'another damn reed failure'. The front page says there is a memememe post on it but when I click through I don't see it. I refreshed the forum page a couple times and it still says it's there. Can you click it and see if it's still there and nuke it if it is?

another musician with issues! Like I said, you have to be a little bit nutty to be a good musician. I mean what I said in a good way.
Honestly, the bitch word is a personal issue with you and you're issues shouldn't spill out on to the board in a way that you impinge your values upon others. It wasn't used in a derogatory fashion at all.
Bitch is a very common word in my world. All female dogs are called a bitch. "That's a very nice bitch."
Bitch ability is something I require in a woman. I don't like chicks that nuckle-under to my whimsand wishes. I like a woman with fight and if you see me with a woman, you can bet she's a hard core bitch when she needs to be. I find it to be an admirable trait.
"damn! You a bitch. Bitch! That's how you do it."
To say somebody is bitching is not offensive either. "Quitcher Bitchin"
So the problem really lies with you.
Now the C--- word, that's a different matter and a different discussion. You'll never see or hear me say that word.

Lemme stray off.. Geoffrey Chaucer used that "C" word quite a bit back in the 1200s and whatnot. I used to read Middle English pretty good back when I was studying to be a medievalist academic. He spelled it queynte, some folks in those days spelled it starting with "coynte" instead, but same word. The wife of Bath used it A LOT in the Canterbury Tales, as in: "For certeyn, olde dotard, by your leave, Ye shall have queynte right enough at eve."
They don't teach you that stuff in high school English.

Elk, I actually did a big paper and presentation in English Lit on the baud in Shakespeare. I wasn't a big fan of Chaucer though.
And Buddha, I do realize that the word has a lot of different meanings in different contexts. All words do, but some are particularly loaded. We all draw the line somewhere. It may seem arbitrary to someone else. I'm a big believer in free speech. I believe people have the right to use the words they choose, but I also believe people have the right to say something about it. After that point I just don't think we did a very good job of explaining our positions to each other.
Peace out.

Wohaa, missed it. I checked out the glitch on isaacs thread. Can't find the problem. But I noticed several times that the forum has problems at the edge to creating a second page of a thread. Sometimes it shows a second page although there are only 49 posts. Sometimes it shows a post(er) which doesn't exist...
Did you tell Adam to delete memememe?
