A little more than 2 years after the first post (February 14th 2008) we have reached 5000 threads on MBH.

I did a little graph to see how the posting rate developed. The easiest (but maybe not most comprehensive) way was to see how long (in days) it took to start 100 threads.

See you at 10000... which should be around Apr 2011. :)

OK so including Feb 14th 2008 and today May 3 2010 there has been 810 days.
If we have 5000 posts thats and average of 6.2 new posts each day.
Of course that means a constant daily activity since inception. In reality I would suggest that there are likely 3 times that now and at the onset there was considerably fewer.
Neat little graph and stat.
Cool stuff.
Anyway of getting actual stats from the server?

I'd like to know the highest date of activity in new threads.
How about the most users on-line by count and date?
And the interesting one, how many locked threads since inception?
And as a count, how many subscriptions in total and how many bannishings to the swamp. Just a count, no names.

Huzzah!
Were the spam bots just a way to boost the number of posts?

Kingo, LOL. I'm not sure, but I think if they were included it might be a lot higher. Actually, most of the spammers seemed to just add spam to existing threads. Only a few of them have had the initiative to start their own.

@tooka, ha lol. Yeah,...

@XHarp, yup I asked Adam to post some stats, but I'm not quite sure what stats macwebsitebuilder offers.

I can help you out with the locked threads though. That should be around seven.
