Wonderful playing--but--I'm puzzled--where is the review of the B-Rad?

I gotta try that tuning--again--really nice playing. . .

He seems a little more partisan in this review than his prior reviews. Does it have something to do with the Harrison logo splashed all over the place?

I'd buy a whole fuc*in set if I could play like Todd does--the ending of the vid was enough for me--I just wish I could afford them. . .

Hey guys. As for the Harrison logo in the video, I was lucky enough to be able to create this video using Final Cut software, so I figured while I had access, I would make something that at least looked a little more professional than my other videos (so I was basically playing around in the software). Also, the logo in the latter part of the video was used to cover up the thermostat on my wall in my house, which was visible in the video, due to me zooming out too far. :-) And just for the record, even though I am featured on the Harrison Harmonicas web site, I am not an official endorsee for Harrison (at least not yet), and I received nothing from them in exchange for making this video. I simply wanted to post a decent video for Brad, because I think we have something really great here; it's not just a great harmonica, it's a true contribution to the harmonica community. I want Brad to be successful in the long run, because we now have a harmonica designed by someone who has a passion for advancing the instrument, and someone who will listen to their customers' (the harmonica players) needs. I still love my Golden Melodies, and I have a lot of respect for the many great, super nice folks at Hohner. After all, without manufacturers like Hohner, many of us may not even be playing the harmonica today. Perhaps Brad's design will help influence the larger harmonica manufacturers to improve the quality of some of their instruments as well. I also believe Brad has plans to create some lesser expensive models in the future, but I am not 100% certain. And believe me, I don't have the extra cash lying around to go out and spend $180 on a harmonica every time I need one either, but I consider a purchase like this an investment, especially when you get an instrument that's built more like a lifetime instrument with replaceable reeds. The B-radical may also prove to be a better harmonica for customizing. Time will tell....

You did a great job Todd, sounds like a really good harmonica, but for the price you can get a whole set of top quality harmonica's. Hopefully they will bring the price down in the future.

Thanks for the clarification. I enjoy your reviews. I hope the guys at Harrison are successful too.

I think Brad should bring a bunch of them to this years SPAH show and offer them at a big SPAH show discount...like under $150. :)

I didn't post last week but I guess I'll say it now.
I ordered 2 B-Radicals last week. I opted for an A and a D. These are the ones that see the most torture and the ones that fail most often in my playing.
I sold some scrap metal and invested the profit into these harps. Hope it was a good decision.
Thanks to Todd for the review along with Jason and the others that posted. They may be just what the doctor ordered.
Best of luck to Brad for going out on a limb to produce this caliber of an insturment, that's another reason I decided to buy. I want to help support his dream and make it a reality. Hopefully it will make my harp playing move up to the next level, time will tell, Mike
