the 4th octave on my HOHNER 280 chro doesn't respond all that well(i have to blow a little harder). i noticed there are no wind savers up there. actually, every chromatic i've seen has no wind savers on the high octave. is there a good reason for this? should i put wind savers in, or gap, or both? i see there are 19 screws holding the plates to the comb so getting in there for adjustments shouldn't be too hard...just tedious. your thoughts and expertise forumites? thanks.
