Hobo-In a seemingly non-hostile thread(a rarity these days) about best-paid players, Hobostubs announced he was quitting the forum.

Why?

No! No! No! I like hobostubs! He's a gritty dirty blues boy through and through. Tell me this isn't true.
I love watching his videos. He has his own cult following on YouTube.

i think he just needs to change his manpon...nothing was said that warranted anyone leaving. eh, that mightve been mean, but i re read almost the entire thread because of what he said and still didnt see anything. at least come back and explain what your talkin bout hobo...

FWIW, i dont wanna see you go anywhere either... Steve Harvell for that matter either..he said he was bouncin too.

If Hobo quits then I will quit too but only if Todd quits on the stipulation that HarpNothinginja quits based on the notice of IssacUllah quitting who I think should only quit if KyerSosa quit. Aside from that, I wish EV630 would just quit without anybody quitting but we don't live in a perfect world now do we?

Ok that's enough. I quit.

If Buddha quits.....

Oh, nevermind. I read that as "I quiet".

Sorry, I had my hopes up.

We all have bad days. Just because you have a sign in name doesn't mean you need to show up every day. And just because you don't show up every day doesn't mean you need to shut down your account.

If Hobo goes he will be missed. There are some people who just make this a fun place to hang out.

Speaking of which, where is Captain Sparrow?

Diggs, I read all your posts! Well... when I get around to it. I mean, if I don't get to read the forum for a few days and it ends up on page 3...

That's so not true about jon, he posted this morning!

Sometimes I go a week or more without posting but that doesn't mean I've left. Heck, sometimes it's 2-3 days between visits and even then I might not read any of the threads. I'm just so busy learning to play music and practicing! Before I'm scolded for posting instead of practicing I need to end this post!

Wow guys,This really hits me kinda hard right now,Im sorry for getting so defensive the other day,I was stressed out, because of my niece getting her finger cut damn near off,The truth is i dont feel like making money with your music is wrong,i wish i was, just that the music comes 1st,That a person plays whether they are selling it or not.its a love,A love that is special,This makes me feel welcomed,A hour after i posted my last post I got a phone call, that was terrible,It was my lifelong best friend's daughter, she said he had died in his sleep,I was shocked,He had hep C and just found out a few months ago,He was a heavy heavy drinker, and wouldnt stop,I and everybody knew he was going to go but i firgured he had a couple years left,But he was ready to go and monday night he left,He allways wanted to play the guitar but never pursued it,His wife got him 1 a few months ago all he wanted was to learn a few country songs,I never taught nobody befor but i was trying to teach him some,i thought there would be enough time,I showed him some exercises, and 3 chorde for the key of G i was going to show him some more after he learned those but,it was not meant to be i guess. He had a good soul and we talked about music the last 2 months of his life and he had a very cool view of music i never relised in him,He didnt want to make a dime, all he wanted was to play a song or 2.If i had known he wasnt going to be around much longer i would have spent more time trying to teach him.Ive cried my soul asleep for days,I loved that man,he was the big brother i never had,His funeral is monday,Life is to short to worry about the little things forgive me guys, all my lifelong friends are down to 2 and one is no longer close by.I hadnt come back to M.B.H untill just now and it brings tears to my eyes with your alls commetts,I guees the Lord works in mysterios way cause i lost a friend but have found many here.thanks

welcome back hobostubs.
thats truly touching. my dad has hep c so i know what its like to see someone rot from the liver out. he was the one who taught me a love of blues and folk music. he cant play a note either but some of my earliest memories are of him making up songs about whatever we were doing just like woody guthrie. i hope you start to feel better about things, and sincerely thank you for how much you give of yourself to this forum.
