I found a dude on Craigslist selling a large lot of new harmonicas for a super cheap price. He got them from a local music store that was closing down. They are all Hohner MB, SP20, or Blues Harps in the keys of Ab, Bb, Eb, E, and F#. This guy is Ebay/Paypal illiterate and just wants to get some quick cash for them. It took over a week for him to reply to my email.

I wanted to see what you all think before I made the investment to try to turn them.

Do you think I can sell these unpopular keys? Or am I going to end up with a lifetime supply of weirdo parts?

What kind of price should I set so I can get rid of them?

As a beginner I need all these keys, but who needs 8 Ab harps!

I wouldnt say these keys are unpopular. I personally love the flat keys especially Ab and Bb. I think they will sell very quickly.

Only the F# is really an oddball key, but you can play first position on Europe's 'The Final Countdown' with it! Make sure if you buy them you do it through eBay. They may take a cut but it will keep you from getting ripped off. Figure out your cost and mark it up a little bit to cover your expenses and then take offers starting from there. How many harps are you talking about? The MBs and SP20's are likely going to be pretty easy to sell.

I'll buy all of the Marine Bands if they have the date codes I prefer. I strictly use the NOS stuff for my Stage III harmonicas.

I finally got them! Stay tuned for Ebay links.

Joe,

Here is a pic of the back of all the MBs. I don't know how to read the date codes, so let me know if this is what you are looking for.

I wanted to keep one of each key, but the manufacture date doesn't mean crap to me. So if they are what you need then we can work it out.

Nate, I have a crap load of B and Db Special 20s too. I will post all of them on ebay as soon as I hear back from Joe about these MBs. It might be a good chance for you to get them a little cheaper.
