RE SOAKED B-RAD IN WATER;
i don't soak harps and don't even own a B-RAD. i was just hoping someone would say,"IDIOT! I SHOULD SOAK YOU AND SEE HOW YOU LIKE IT!! then i could say, APRIL FOOL!

the thread turned out way better than expected. with michael from harrisson harmonicas wishing us all a "HAPPY ST. FOOLS DAY" and bizzare ,surreal, customizing tips from liquid nitrogen to single malt to lighter fluid and air compressors to make your B-RAD shatter wine glasses without needing retuning. even buddha weighed in.
thanks guys, that was sooooo funny.

PS, i wonder if i should apologize to harrisson harmonicas?

No wonder none of that stuff worked on all my marine bands! I was waiting for the next tuning tip...rats.

OK - here is my secret tip.....I soak mine in Wild Turkey...not the 80 proof stuff ( that leaves them a little flat ) use the good stuff 101 proof.

I prefer isopropyl alcohol freshly applied to my harps immediately before I play onstage, which I light on fire before playing. It's rough on facial hair and I risk getting later skin grafts from my butt, but the crowd really digs it.

OK congaron.
in my profesional opinion.
the fastest way to open up your B-RAD is with a hammer. not your wimpy customizing hammer, but at least a carpentry framing hammer or larger. i use a mini sledge myself.
use protective eyewear because 99.9 percent of newbys who try this regret it if they don't.
place harp on hard surface- the neighbors car, a politicians head, etc. NOT THE KITCHEN TABLE!! you'll never be forgiven. in fact..NEVER TRY THIS AT HOME! wait for the nieghbors to leave and when the coast is clear get crackin'!
after you've finished pick up evidence and remember to return neighbors hammer to his/her tool shed. can you remember all that? oh..wear a stocking over your head. see yah,

Now see..if you would have told me that before, I wouldn't have smashed my hand when I tried it on my marine band with a 3 pound sledge. I suppose i was supposed to have my fingers open when i hit the harp in my hand too....what next?

my bad. almost lost my left thumb that way. v. sorry

glue the harp with fast drying 2 part epoxy(time is of the essence) to desired surface. hold hammer with both hands above head like samurai, thor, or favorite super hero and let 'er rip. use coal chisel and THORS HAMMER if harp is still stuck to desired surface.
hope this helps.

Todd cool trick but mine is way better. Apply rubber cement to your lips and fire them up. Its like napalm lip balm

does the suzuki firebreath come with lighter fluid or similar? or is it false advertising by those manji dogs?

Buddha harps come with a flame thrower and napam if you're into truly bad ass harps.

F-18 FIGHTER HARP VS. THE FLYING WING
iv'e had my fighter harp for a while now but decided to try the flying wing. i don't like the ET tuning on the fighter but it drops bombs and fires rockets-n-stuff.
the wing is cool and i like the tuning but it only drops one bomb. also it's shaped like a hohner COMET or one of those BOOMERANG harps and keeps hitting me in the ears. is there an alternative? HELP!
