So I got my first *real* harp a year ago - it is a Lee Oskar Diatonic, key of C. About a month later, I bought a Marine band, and then another, and then a Golden Melody, and then another...
I now have two other harps in the key of C. I don't like the Lee Oskar. I never play it.
But lots of people do prefer Lee Oskars. And lots of people hate marine bands.
Is anyone in the same boat as me in the sense that you have a harp you don't like? Would you want to get rid of a Marine Band in favor of a Lee Oskar? I can ship it to you and if you like it, ship me yours'.
I played it for two months tops. It's in good shape. I can post photos or a video if you like.

It's weird, but I haven't found one yet I don't like. I think it's because i talk myself into liking anything that coast more than $10...lol.

I already have a Lee Oskar in C. And 4 Blues Bands, and a Blessing Tremolo, and a Huang Tremolo, and a Frankenharp, and a Piedmont. And ironically I don't have many spare harps in other keys, except some Piedmonts. If it was another key I would have gone for it.

If anyone wants to contact me privately, my address is (my name) *at* ubuntu.com.
Nacoran : Thanks for your encouragement. I appreciate it!
If no one wants the harp, I guess I'll sell it on ebay for cheap. At least it will do someone some good.

groyster- I only have one vintage harmonica. It's a vintage Magnus all plastic harmonica. Most diatonics have, let's see, at least 2 screws for the reed plates, 2 screws for the cover, 2 nuts, 20 reeds, 20 rivets, 2 reed plates, 2 covers, 1 comb, so around 50 parts. My Magnus is 5 pieces. Two covers, a comb and two reed plates cast with the reeds already attached! All for a bargain basement price of about $8, although by the time I paid shipping and the stuff I'm going to need to get it looking brand spanking new I'll probably be up around $20. ---------- Nate Facebook
