Among the contributors to this forum, who would you like to meet the most that you haven't already(you can have a list of more than one, too)? Why, and what would you ask them/talk to them about, etc.?
I will have to think about my own answer and post later.

I heard that eharp can be in two places at the same time. ---------- I used to be young and foolish. Now I'm not so young.

Tough one Todd....I mean to narrow it down to a few.....I'd like to meet..
Walter - He's been around and played with so many greats. He inspires me.
Buddha - A real character - wise - to the point- and a better sense of humor than most people think (I think)
Rick Davis - he has helped me out with some of my decisions on equipment. I want to hear his band.
Greg H. He just seems to know so much about Mics.
Nacoran - Because he lives fairly close.
---------- Music is your own experience, your own thoughts, your wisdom. If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn. They teach you there's a boundary line to music. But, man, there's no boundary line to art. - Charlie Parker

Well, I've met eharp, who by the way is a great guy and I have met Walter Tore, also a great guy. So I guess I would like to meet Buddha cause I think he did me a favor on a couple of occasions. ---------- Wisdom does not always come with old age. Sometimes old age arrives alone.

I'd like to meet all of you! Well, at least those of you who I like... ;)
No, for real, I'm down to meet anyone from this forum. Meeting in real life is cool, and, as good as this forum is, face to face interaction just can't be beat.
I've met Oldwailer, Buddha, X-harp, and Jawbone, and doing so was fully awesome. There's a good bunch of folks here, and all these guys were super easy to get along with.
If you ever do get a chance to meet a fellow MBH'er, do it! ---------- ------------------

I met Violin Cat after one of his shows, man is he high energy! Not met anyone else.
So, I'd most like to meet Adam, cause he taught me everything I know. Then, prob Rachel Plas, cause she played my favorite harp solo of all time in that turtle walk video. Then probably/possibly Budda, but he may be dangerous with those dogs so I'm not so sure. Then issucula, to learn about electronics and cause he reminds me of me.

Well, I'm going to meet Adam, Brandon, Jon, Kyser and others at Hill Country. It will be nice to put faces with names, and just hang out and jam with all of them. Some others:
Isaac-because he has a brilliant, creative mind, and I'd like to think some of that might rub off on me if we met in person!
Tooka2-I actually like to watch people paint, and take a blank canvas and turn it into someting beautiful. He does this. I'll sit on the side and play mood music on harp while he does his thing.
If I crossed the pond to meet Tooka, I might as well meet the rest of the Brits. I'm a culture junkie, and a foodie. We'd get some good eats and brews, and attack a blues jam en masse!
Buddha-I think we'd eat good, and he brings a lot to the table musically that i'd like to experience in person. Just keep the dogs at bay, please, and I will come unarmed.
eharp-Because I want to have a piefight with him. We might actually jam, too. The force is strong with this Jedi, but I ate my Wheaties. I think I can take him.
Boris Plotnikov-He'd be a good Russian tour guide and he's a magician on harp.
Buzadero-We will hang out, eventually, here in the Big Sleazy. I forsee craziness on Frenchman St.
WalterTore-His spontaneous creativity amazes me. He has so many stories to tell, and I'd love to hear them.
Rick Davis-I wanna meet him on his turf. Jam with his band, then have him show me some of the awesome trails he hikes in person.
Greg Heumann-I owe my mom a visit. She lives in San Rafael. I might as well go up the road and bug Greg and see what cool toys he has in his workshop.
nacoran-he makes me laugh.
Delta Dirt-let's hit the juke joints! Oh, and if it helps, I really like turkey wings.
Heck, I'm always open to meeting new friends-we already have a common thread. ----------

Anyone and everyone. I concur with Isaacullah on making a point to do so. And on keeping with my own advice, jawbone and I are trying to hook up with Mr so&so and oda in the near future to kick off MBH North PLJ2 (parking lot jam #2) so that'll be a cool time. Anyone else in the GTA/Golden Horseshoe area is welcome to chime in.
Mostly now I'd like to meet Adam and Buddha to see what they're like as regular joes.
It'd be cool just to meet people who share their music and friendship.
Still trying to get out of my May weekend commitment to get to Hill Country and do this. We'll see..... ---------- "Keep it in your mouth" - XHarp
