Hi,
I'm from Gatineau (Québec) and I was wondering if there are some fellow canadians or Quebecers on this forum. If so, let me know where you're from.
Thanks

You can check out the forum's Google Map. Here's a link to the original thread, or you can find it on the forum how-to. If you have a Google account it only takes a few seconds to add a pin for yourself. It's fun to see who is near you.

I'll add my name to the census. In in Kitchener, S.Ont. There is an active blues scene here. I'm surprised that I'm the only one from here.
Hey Jawbone, I sent you an email a while back, and you were going to hook me up with Xharp. Did you ever get that?

Toronto- 'It's beautiful; it's like no other city I've ever seen. It's like Albany, only cleaner.'
When I was little I used to live in Maine. I could see literally seen Canada out the front picture window, and not like Sarah Palin could see Russia.

Hey hey hey, Here I am ! Awake again after a lazy weekend.
Yup I'm from the booming and ever growing metropolis of Waterdown Ontario.
mr. so&so is right, KW is a hot bed of blues activity. Y'all gotta get there and check it out.
jawbone, mr.so&so, if you want to get together and jam lets hook it up and see what kind of disgusting noises we can make. I can dust off the 6 string and we can do a rousing set of something.
Think oda might be up for a little something too.

HI XHarp The thing is that every time I go on a forum I'm almost the only one from this part of the world. It feels good not thinking that I'm not the only Canadian crazy about blues.
Now if I could have the talent and dedication of you guys things would be sweeter but thats for another topic.

Why don't we start a Canadian harp group? and meet once every month or two or more.
I say this because if we get organized and form a group we can use our numbers to pull in someone like Adam to come down and be a guest in our group. Y'dig?
So what are our numbers? how many are on this forum as members. How many harp players/fanatics/hobbiests do you guys know? Iknow of at least 2 others that would be interested in a group.

Hey Scoltx - Woodstock - Cool town. Had a good friend from Palmerston and a buddy of mine worked out that way for years. Of course nasty bit of business with the lattle girl last year... that was a bad mark on a nice little community.
Oda, Get your friends to chime in on this forum, then ocne we get a full count, we'll organize some get togethers. Sounds like we might be able to get jawbone to open up some of that acreage he has for any such event.
Of course, there's power in numbers and I'm sure with the right amount of persuasion we could get someone to come out. ---------- "Keep it in your mouth" - XHarp
