I’m very sorry and shocked to hear that esteemed member of this forum, Jbone, has passed away. Pat was an active member here for as long as I remember. Condolences to Jolene.

I had a brief email conversation with him just a week or two ago. He was as full of life as ever. I am very sorry to hear this.

I only know what I’m seeing on his Facebook page, which appears to be Jolene posting. I’m in near-disbelief. I keep hoping someone will tell me it’s a hoax and his profile has been hacked but that’s not happening.

This is really sad news. Jbone just posted in the louder amp thread on January 31!

Jbone has been a fixture in the MBH forum for many years. I was impressed with his determination to live his life and play his music his way. This news is shocking.

I used to play at jams with him in the '90's. Life is too short.

I was IMing with him just a few days ago. I saw the post on FB to. He will be missed. I nearly got to meet him in person a couple years back when he was up this way but timing just didn't work out. He was a nice man who was totally in love with his wife.

Have not been following much for some time. Sorry to hear about Jbone. Damn. A fixture here. Always something good from him. Missed. To squeeze some positive thing from it, maybe a good reminder to us all for those around us...

Hard to believe. His posts always made me feel like he was right there talking to me. I always enjoyed the way he talked about his experiences playing and the warmth he always conveyed when he mentioned Jolene. He will be missed in this forum.
