I listened with eyes closed to avoid having the images affect my choice.

I prefer the music in the bottom version.

My opinion is totally subjective based on personal music style preferences.

A Happy New Year to us all! Please???!!!

I liked both, but I preferred the first. The harmonica playing on the 2nd might have been better, but I like it more with less going on from a production standpoint.
Happy to have both on my playlist, though.

I like the second one. The first one was a little too floaty for me.

The second is better sound technically. I like the harmonica-front-and-center of it, too. But given the guitar in the first video, the guitarist does his job and doesn't overplay and that's a good thing.

Catchy theme, I think I have said so before. The tempo is markedly slower and more difficult in the second video.

The solo in the first is more of what one expects a solo to be, a more classic take. More note-y and contrast and technically better.

The solo in the second video is not a classic take. It continues the mood of the theme and has some original note choices, it requires more of the listener.
