I'm not a pedal expert. What are you looking for exactly, a longer slower wah, an echo? I'm not sure. One thing you could do is record some stuff and play around with it in a program like Audacity and see what effects you like on it. It can't do it in real time, but at least it will give you an idea of exactly what you want. (And it's free.) The only pedal I use is actually a vocal multi-effect pedal. It gives me a lot of options fairly cheaply, but they probably aren't as good as the effects you'd get in individual specialty pedals.

yes, i was just thinking about buying a wah pedal.i know gussow uses a delay setup.i only have one amp and i don;t use taht much,i just like to change around and jam on rock & roll. might invest in a wah pedal to see what it sounds like. that would be really cool.

There are a few ways to get a wah without a pedal. A good hand effect will work pretty well, although it won't give you an echo. If you've got a good music store near you take a harp down there and ask them to try out different pedals.

Sometimes (very rare) I use Morley Power Wah II, sligtly modifed to reduce output volume, it sounds ok, but I'm lazy to carry it with me. It sounds ok inline but it sounds a bit better if you plug it into parallel loop (like with Boss LS2) or using for one of two amps at the same time.
