I just recorded a cover of David Barrett's "Quiet World". It's a four minute harp instrumental, with no other instruments (aside from a foot tapping the beat).

Can I maintain your interest for four minutes?

Nice Mirco. I'm working on Blowin My Horn at the moment. Super challenging.
What took longer, learning the song or editing the video!?
Great work on both fronts!

Ha! Video editing took no time at all, as I handed that over to my wife. Thanks for watching.

Blowin My Horn is a badass song. If that's the only third position song you ever learn, that's enough. That song is a real crowd pleaser.

Great job! 4 minuets is a lot of stuff to remember LOL. The great thing about all our efforts to learn songs is the riffs and licks will magically come out in our improvising on stage and make you sound like a genius.

Thanks, Tony. I don't know if I'll ever be mistaken for a genius, but I'll settle for being a competent musician. I'm working for that much, at least.

Great job

I dont think people realize how difficult acapella harp is. Trying to keep the 12 bars in yr head, the changes etc.

Then its difficult to not be noticeably repetitive. its hard enough to do for 30 seconds let alone 4 min.

Good to see u use barrets sight---like all of us, I've had long stagnant periods in my playing. I needed and still do ,some structure. I started barrets LOA program, almost ready to submit level 5. I now try to use the benefits of Lip pursing and the benefits of Tongue block, interchangeably.

I stay out of the controversy one is right, one is wrong

to me good harp playing, is good harp playing--even if u do it through a straw.

Im a Rod Piazza fan---One time live He did a solo after band dropped out, that went on forever. wasn't boring, wasn't noticeably repetitive,

HWASN'T JUST A BUNCH FORCED TECHNIQUE AND
"HEY LISTEN TO ME, I CAN DO THIS TECHNIQUE, THIS TECHNIQUE AS WELL"
It was musical/

what u did was musical good playing, not forced. It was also solo, great job

Good job playing, nice video. Few things hold my attention for four minutes. You did.

Thanks for your support, everyone!!

Joe: yes!! Maybe soon. Things are starting to open up.

Kevin: It's good to hear from you! I hope you're staying safe. I'm hoping to bring some of your original tunes to the band and record them. But I don't know if I have the home setup for doing quality vocal recording. (I've got the harp part covered...)
