You also need < /a > (without the spaces) after your link text.

On the "Harmonica forum how-to" page you SCROLL DOWN to the "Insert a link to a website" section.

If you try to post the entire code including the final "a>" to the forum it appears as a LINK on the forum, not as the complete text needed to post.

SCROLL DOWN to see it.

<a href="http://www.modernbluesharmonica.com/forum_faq.html">Harmonica forum how-to</a>

So you put the site address in between the quotation marks, including the http bit. Then you put what you want to call the link in between the > < bit.

I am going to try to memorize this little bit of code.
I should be able to do it after all I can play the harmonica!

I just go to the "how-to" page in a new tab, scroll down, copy the code, paste it in my message, paste the web address of the page between the quotes, and then type in what I want to call the link.

I guess I am too lazy to memorize the code when I can just copy and paste to put a link in my message.
