They say a problem shared is a problem halved.
I've got chronic pain from having had surgery to sort out my right led hassles back in June.
I'm now 22 weeks down the track and hit a big bump in the road to recovery.
Until 3 weeks ago, I was doing 3 day a week hydrotherapy, weekly physio and doing all the right exercises at home.
No idea what's happened, I've suddenly got massive swelling and pain again.
I guess it's just a question of time, I'm seeing pain management specialist (I've got nerve pain)
But at least I can still get to the computer and keep up with what's going on. I'm back driving (I've been driving my auto left footed for a number of years now) and back practicing with the band and done a couple of gigs in the duo.
Have a look at this for an interesting leg!

Ouch.

I wasn't familiar with the term osteotomy before, but I guess technically I had it done. I had a shoulder issue years ago where they had to widen the hole the tendon went through. I ended up with complications (blood clots) but the repair part of it went pretty well, and a toe... which was pretty minor, that had to have a spur cut off it.

Hope your recovery gets back on track. Feel better.

I'm getting a clicking that my physiotherapist thinks are the ends of the fibula rubbing against each other. It's a weird feeling, it doesn't hurt as such, it just feels wrong.

On the other hand, buying a brand new 65 Princeton Reverb has had a positive effect ;-)

Not a good start to the year!
Christmas eve I took my moon boot off to flex my ankle and saw my leg bend in the middle. Spent all of Christmas eve at the emergency dept.
Turns out the bone hasn't knitted so on Monday 18th Jan I go in for, wait for it, Non Union right tibia revision fixation plus bone graft.
That's 7 months on crutches for no gain and the prospect of another 3-4 months to go now.
Ho hum
