On Tuesday 26th its 'Australia Day' ie our national day.

On the spur of the moment and with nil practice I shot and uploaded a medley of Australian songs.

WARNING - it's Grandpa music, but who cares as I've been a grandpa for a long time. Some of the tunes I had not played in a year or so and although they are simple beginner straight harp tunes it's a reminder that they still should be practiced. A lot of these tunes will be sung around the BBQ on Tuesday especially our unofficial anthem 'Waltzing Matilda'.

Enjoy. And, Happy Australia Day to all the other Aussies.

Our real anthem "Advance Australia Fair' is I feel a bit church 'dirgy' so I played it on an A Tremolo.

Good stuff Aussiesucker, i really like Waltzing Matilda, and the sound of the Tremolo. Any chance of a rendition of Neighbours? lol.

No Midnight Oil? No Men at Work?

Oh well, nice playing anyway. :)

Thanks guys.

nacoran> I like Midnight Oil & their lead Peter Garrett is a harp player. Peter Garrett is now a member of the Australian parliament & the Oils no longer play but occasionally reform for a benefit.
