I've not used the U3, but I've used the U2 for years now. I wrote about it previously here.

Summary: it works great, highly recommended.

I have the U3 transmitter plugged into the new Hohner mic, Receiver is plugged into my HarpGear DT. via impedance matching trans. Love it, plug and play. Really didn't like all the wires and cables needed for wireless playing LOL, so this works for me big time!

I went to see a friend's band play the other night, in a gazebo in a park. I wasn't planning on playing, but wanted to be prepared if it happened, without hauling a lot of gear. But neither was I gonna play through anyone else's mic during Covid-19. My rig consisted of a small (6"x9") Konsheng case with 7 harps, and a small (4"x6") pouch with Bulletini and XVive U2 transmitter and receiver. When he called me up I just handed him the receiver to plug into the board and I was good to go. No cables to trip over or thread around other players and gear. I could stand anywhere I needed to. Teardown consisted of grabbing the receiver on my way offstage. Easy Peasy. Gotta love wireless, and the new generation of Bluetooth wireless rigs is really great.

I believe the difference between the U2 and U3 is that the former (which I have) is 1/4, and the latter is XLR. But check first, I could be wrong.

I believe Gary is correct. I have a U2 and it is 1/4 plugs designed to use with a guitar. The U3 uses a XLR connector which is designed to attach to a vocal mic. I think the U3 is a little larger and the stated operation time between charges is a little longer. It also cost more. I really like my U2.
