I was just notified.

The Beam Blossom Blues festival Aug 27-29 2020 has been canceled.

That was the only remaining thing on my schedule. Now it's gone too.

There will still be quite a few folks show up at the park and make their own festival!

Sorry, Jim! I know you were looking forward to it, too. In my neck of the woods that also includes Nate, There doesn't seem to be much ever going on for harp, although Dennis G. played the Athens, NY street festival a few years ago. That's about an hour and a half from where I live. So I just amuse myself by heading up to my studio each afternoon for about an hour or so and playing alone. At least it helps me keep my sanity. Since I retired three years ago, I've made that a regular part of my daily routine.

@Sarge .... Now you got me thinking... I'm going to look into who's coming. I go more for the jamming than the the listening.

So now I gotta ask. Who wants to go anyway?? If I find enough jammers, I'll go to join in.

Raven, he played Troy last year I think. I saw the Facebook notification of the concert at 7:30 for an 8 start. If I'd seen it maybe half an hour earlier I could have done something about it.

Annie Raines played the Linda one night, and again, I didn't know about it. What was really frustrating was I was actually parked alongside the Linda that night but they didn't have any signs on the side of the building so I was at the open mic across the street... and I joked on her FB show that I'd missed her show in the Albany area and she said, oh, yeah the show up in Saratoga was great... and I was like 'You played a show in Saratoga too?'

Our local arboretum does a summer concert series. I tried to work something out to get Adam a slot there. The guy was really interested in getting him but he didn't follow up when I gave him Adam's contact info.

Oh well.

Jim, I will probably be there. I know there are quite a few of the regulars that are still going. Rumor has it that Samantha is going to be there too, just to jam and party. That is just a rumor!!!!!
