... when someone posts a 10 minute video and you click on it when you only have 5 minutes to get out the door...

Oh well. I'll drive fast.

G’day Ted,
I was rather inclined to enjoy that. It’s taken me a while to get around to listening to it; often I’m not able to play sound on my device for various reasons but at last I am situated to do so, at home with my wifi.
Used to be you were posting videos which were non stop parade of high speed delivery. I was impressed by your skill but I found it hard to stay engaged. The most recent few videos you’ve shared are equally impressive but seem much more expressive to me. I like it.

Am in agreement with SuperBee regarding initial nonstop parade of high speed delivery slowly morphing into more expressiveness and actual shorter ideas.

It's fun to watch an evolution towards better musicality.

However, am not yet finding an attachment with what you play to the underlying music/back tracks.

Perhaps that is the next step in your evolution as a developing musician.

Thanks SuperBee. I've been playing with some other musicians with jazz and blues back grounds , which has moved me to adapt my style to the tunes we're undertaking. It's fun and I surprise myself at times.

Here's one more clip from the patio session yesterday, including a nice version of ALL OF ME, and a fairly plodding version of HEART OF GOLD.
