Another irresistible deal on a Peavey. A Duel 212 from the original owner, $150. I have been wanting one of these for as long as I've known of them, but just could not justify the $400 everyone is asking. 120 watts and 80 lbs., not exactly a bedroom amp. About the only thing I'm missing now is a Delta Blues 210.
300 miles down to San Antonio to get it today. So that's what I did instead of the SPAH convention today. I would have certainly dropped that much on a hotel room and again in the vendor's hall.

I had a 210 for a while, pretty good amp for band work. Drove a 4x8 cab nicely too. I would have liked a couple of 12's in a cab but had to let the amp go so a moot point.
Some years ago I drove 3 hours to sell my Bassman to a guy. He bought it sight unheard but I know he loved it esp. for the price, about 60% of what I had paid for a harp customized '59 replica, hand built. It was a fine amp but I was not using it much since going into more acoustic duo. The proceeds funded a small fishing boat. Ton of fun! ---------- Music and travel destroy prejudice.
